Is a motorized adjustable desk worth it — does it really improve comfort and health?

Hey folks, I’ve been sitting at the same old desk for years and my back is constantly aching. I keep seeing those motorized adjustable desks advertised everywhere, and I’m wondering if they’re actually worth it. Would switching to a desk that goes up and down make a noticeable difference in comfort or posture, or is it mostly just a gimmick? I’d love to hear from people who’ve actually used one day-to-day.

I’ve had one for about a year now, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer. I upgraded mine with some quality motorized standing desk parts https://www.progressiveautomations.com/collections/home-office-solutions and now I alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day. My lower back pain has eased a lot, and I feel more alert in the afternoons. Even just small adjustments make a difference. Plus, it’s surprisingly fun to tweak the height depending on what I’m working on.
