Access panel that doesn’t look ugly?

Putting an access panel in the hallway ceiling for HVAC filter. Most plastic ones scream “cheap renovation”. Has anyone found a decent looking one that’s still easy to install and doesn’t cost a fortune? Preferably something that blends better with white ceiling paint.

I had the same issue – the white plastic ones turn yellowish fast and the frame always looks wavy. Switched to a metal version with a clean powder coat finish; it sits almost flush and you barely notice it once painted. Holds up to occasional bumping way better too. This is the exact model I used last month:

Screw-in corners, magnetic latch option, 14×14 size fit my opening perfectly. Just make sure your cut is square.
